This experience is designed for Brownies, Juniors, Seniors, and Ambassadors. It is not available for Daisies. Troop leaders can follow along with our supplied climbing workbook, which will encourage participation and guide discussion during your troop’s session.
The workbook guides climbers during their session, helping them gain a deeper understanding of the sport. It includes challenges and questions that Troop Leaders can use for activities and discussion as Girl Scouts earn their Climbing Adventure Badge.
When preparing to visit the Gravity Lab, wear comfortable, flexible clothing that won’t restrict your range of motion. Breathable fabrics such as cotton or spandex are an excellent choice. Sturdy, closed-toe, supportive shoes with grippy soles are required.
No, climbing shoes with black rubber and chalk are not allowed in the Gravity Lab.
Yes, one active adult chaperone is required for every 5 climbers under the age of 16.
